Takayoshi has been involved in international business for about 40 years with the motto “to be a bridge between Japan and overseas.”
He served as Representative Director/CEO of overseas subsidiaries in three countries, and as General Manager of the Overseas Regional Headquarters at Honda Motor Co., Ltd.
He was then recruited by Yamato Group, one of Japan's most renowned and successful logistics companies. After joining the company, he leveraged his previous experience to develop and implement the group's mid-to-long-term international business strategy as the General Manager of the International Strategy Division, overseeing the group's global operations.
He also managed startup companies in the space and public health sectors as Managing Director and Director/COO.
Through this business career, Takayoshi acquired following know-how and skills.

Through about 20 years of living abroad, and interacting with people internationally for a long time, Takayoshi realized how little he knew about the history, art, and culture of his home country.
As a result, Takayoshi has been training himself in the world of Chanoyu, and is a qualified full-time instructor of the Urasenke school, the largest Chanoyu school.
And he is living in Kamakura to deepen his knowledge of Japanese culture, motivated by his longtime love of Japanese culture.
